Here are some photographs from the recent wedding of Roxy and Iain which was held at Nonsuch Mansion.
Despite a day of almost constant rain the wedding was a lot of fun to photograph. Nonsuch Mansion is a wedding venue that really comes into its own on days like this; as you can see from the photographs here, there is a lot of space and a variety of rooms to capture great wedding photographs.
Roxy’s family are Iranian and after the Civil Ceremony in the Orchid Room we all moved through to the Rose Room for a traditional ceremony with a Sofreh Aghd, a table laid out with various food and symbolic items representing the union of the couple.
Shoes were a key element of the day including the bride’s pair from Manolo Blahnik and the Louboutins she gave as a gift to her husband to be.
After the speeches and the cutting of the cake the party started with a really impressive first dance. This signalled the start of some wild scenes on the dancefloor!
