Here are some photographs from the recent wedding of Roxy and Iain which was held at Nonsuch Mansion.
Despite a day of almost constant rain the wedding was a lot of fun to photograph. Nonsuch Mansion is a wedding venue that really comes into its own on days like this; as you can see from the photographs here, there is a lot of space and a variety of rooms to capture great wedding photographs.
Roxy’s family are Iranian and so after the Civil Ceremony in the Orchid Room we all moved through to the Rose Room for a traditional ceremony with a Sofreh Aghd. This is a table laid out with various foods and symbolic items representing the union of the couple.
Shoes were a key element of the day including the bride’s pair from Manolo Blahnik and the Louboutins she gave as a gift to her husband to be.
After the speeches and the cutting of the cake the party started with a really impressive first dance. Inevitably this signalled the start of some wild scenes on the dance floor as you can see from the photographs below!
