A Wedding at Nonsuch Mansion – Cara & Carl
Summer Wedding Photography at Nonsuch Mansion
There’s nothing like a summer wedding at Nonsuch Mansion. After a run of less generous weather the wedding of Cara and Carl took place under blue skies and in the warm glow of the May sunshine which meant the mansion itself looked glorious. The bride’s glamorous dress was designed by Anoushka G and really shimmered in the sunlight. Her father, Peter, was very impressed when he arrived at the Nonsuch Mansion bridal suite to escort his daughter to the ceremony. Cara had a definite style in mind for her wedding day and to achieve the look she was after she enlisted the help of Karen from Carrie Southall Styling who supplied and installed some fabulous vintage props and furniture. These were dressed with flowers from Flowerstalk. The groom waited nervously for his bride to arrive but he was given fair warning by the flower girl and pageboy, twins, Maddie and Olly. One of the great attractions of Nonsuch Mansion is the variety of backdrops it offers for photographs. it has woodland, parkland, beautiful flowerbeds and, of course, Nonsuch Mansion itself. There was an ice cream van parked on the lawn of the mansion to keep the newlyweds and their guests happy during the reception. After the wedding breakfast a casino was set-up as a surprise for Carl from his new wife. The groom and his friends enjoyed a bit of impromptu gambling (just for fun, of course!). The new Mr & Mrs Waltho are enjoying an extended honeymoon travelling in the Far East for 4 months.
