Autumn Wedding at Nonsuch Mansion in Surrey

Last week I had an autumn wedding at Nonsuch Mansion in Surrey. We saw the full range of autumn weather; from showers to grey skies to sunshine but the wedding venue and it’s grounds provided a great backdrop throughout.

When I arrived, our bride, Amy, was in the bridal suite getting ready but still finding time to help her mother, Alison, with her make-up. Meanwhile, the groom, Lee, and the boys were ‘warming up’ downstairs on the lawn of the mansion.

Amy’s dress was designed by Justin Alexander and her golden shoes were from Dune although she did don a pair of very fetching wellingtons for our stroll around Nonsuch Park after the wedding ceremony.

Amy’s beautiful bouquet and the flowers in the Orchid room were created by Michelle Rust.

I love this shot of the bride as she ‘flows’ down the stairs at Nonsuch Mansion.

“If you wanted it you should have put….”  oh, he has.

We were fortunate that whilst shooting the formal(ish) photographs there was a welcome glimpse of blue sky!

The great thing about Nonsuch Mansion and the surrounding parkland is that, if you know where to look, there is always somewhere to capture lovely wedding photographs.

Amy is obviously enjoying the Best Man’s speech; Lee looks a little unsure….

The couple are currently enjoying a honeymoon on Loch Lomond.
